We said our goodbyes and left their driveway this morning, heading to Branson, Missouri. We drove about 200 miles and stopped in Linwood, North Carolina, at the Cross Winds Family Campground.
Cross Winds is a Passport America park, so $17 for full hookups, including cable and WiFi, is a pretty good deal. The campground is fairly new, having opened about two years ago. There are 55 total campsites. Our site was C-4.
Not many here -- actually we took a walk and there are several more sites tucked amongst the trees with quite a few campers.
The spaces are wide and should be able to handle any size rig. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel.
They have plenty of wood stockpiled for a cold winter.
Swimming Pool isn't open -- yet.
That's it for now. We'll see how far we get tomorrow, but first, we are stopping at Camping World in Statesville, North Carolina, to have our tires rotated and see if they have anything we "need."
Until next time, may God continue to bless our voyage, as well as our family and friends everywhere!
Glad to hear you had a great Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteNice looking RV park and what a steal of a rate for all the amenities you have.
Great looking park. I will have to try and remember this one. Nice family pictures too, glad your Mother's Day was enjoyable for you!

That camp looks so nice. We love Passport America. Thanks for sharing the info on this camp.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great park. We haven't joined Passport America yet. Still wondering if it makes sense for part-timers...but some of their parks sure look nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat family pictures. Glad you had a good Mother's Day.
